Confinement: a transition period that gives meaning to consumption
Confinement seems to have installed a new, “softer” lifestyle. This forced break at home is synonymous with withdrawal and “deceleration”. Quebecers in particular have slowed down their pace of life and taken advantage of the present moment. It should be noted that the 35 to 44 year olds are those who have changed their lifestyle the least (score of 60 on average). More specifically, they were less interested in “reconnecting to a healthier life” (score of 63), and in “giving time to others” (score of 42).
